VolatileAssembly pdb issue

May 27, 2010 at 11:48 PM

Hi all, it seems that the (awesome) VolatileAssembly directive doesn't behave quite as the standard assembly directive in that it doesn't produce line numbers in exceptions.

I have found a post on http://www.georgemk.com/2009/12/t4-template-reference-to-frequently.html where poster "shane" says that he modified the code to include pdbs and only clean the temp directory when a new copy is made (not sure about this one), but are these changes going to make it into a later build, or have they? I have lots of bugs and the line numbers help me fix them quicker!! :)

Thanks!

Thanks for reporting this problem, @00. I created a new issue to address this: http://t4toolbox.codeplex.com/workitem/17968
