I want to create a button on a toolbar in VS to run preprocessed templates that generate multiple files across various projects.

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a way to make it easy for developers to generate multiple files from preprocessed templates using a button on a Visual Studio toolbar.  I have all the Preprocessed templates generating code by calling a standard T4Template script using the TextTemplatingFileGenerator.  However, I want to start the generation of these files from a button on a toolbar in the UI so that I can bring up my own UI, etc..

I'm using the T4Toolbox so that I can generate multiple files and add them to projects and source control.  That works great when generating these by right clicking on a tt file and running the custom tool, but I wasn't sure if it would work if I created a Visual Studio extension.  The T4Toolbox uses a custom DTEProcessor.  Will that be a problem?
