Any idea when Visual Studio 2013 will be supported?

Or does the current package work with 2013, simply not published in the gallery?

I am tried to install T4Toolbox.vsix, it won't work on VS 2013

Renaming the package to a zip file. Extracting and changing the version numbers from 11 to 12 in the manifest file works and it installs in VS 2013. Not certain as to weather it the package runs without issue however.

Renaming and changing the manifest doesn't work. The install runs against 2013, but as soon as t4toolbox is included the template engine fails with an unresolved reference. A reference to TextTemplating.11 needs to be added to the solution.

Added Assembly
<#@ assembly name="Microsoft.VisualStudio.TextTemplating.11.0, Version=11.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a" #>
Now complains:
Error 1 Compiling transformation: The type 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.TextTemplating.TextTransformation' exists in both 'c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL\Microsoft.VisualStudio.TextTemplating.11.0\v4.0_11.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a\Microsoft.VisualStudio.TextTemplating.11.0.dll' and 'c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL\Microsoft.VisualStudio.TextTemplating.12.0\v4.0_12.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a\Microsoft.VisualStudio.TextTemplating.12.0.dll' d:\WORK\PROJECTS\MVC5\MvcLiteSite\MvcLiteSite.CodeGen\Cruds\01-Sql.tt 1 86 MvcLiteSite.CodeGen

This can somehow solve?

I think you need to add a new build configuration for v4.5.1
You additionally need to setup and build T4Toolbox.12.dll (a new target name) against that framework version.
You need to copy the wix template for 2012, and setup a similar configuration for 2013, using the new 4.5.1 dll.

I spent a few hours trying yesterday, and was dragged away for other priorities.

It's not as simple as adding a reference.

I have already the third day trying ... and it's not easy (for me, anyway, is not possible to compile t4toolbox in vs2013, can't understand what are the necessary libraries)

I hope Oleg adds Preprocessed Template support to VS 2012 soon. Currently, we have to open up VS 2010 for preprocessed support, modify six projects in the solution back to .Net 4.0 from 4.5, generate the code, and modify the projects back to 4.5. I'm not sure how many people are using VS 2013 yet. I hope VS 2012 support has higher priority.

Of course it is. It is a pity that tried VS2013 there is no way back.

The source code in code plex is for a much older 2010 / 2008 version of the toolbox.
From what I can see, the vsix package for studio 2012 is not checked in.

Just got an answer from Oleg on Twitter. He says T4Toolbox for VS2013 will be out this weekend.

It's a shame that the new version no longer appears to be open source.
